Motorcycle Memories

Dear Motorcycle Friends,

Within the pages to follow, you will find images of historic motorcycles as pictured on original postcards or photographs. With only a couple of exceptions, each image is from the first third of the last century. This web site is the result of years of collecting these pieces of motorcycle history. Because I find the images fascinating and historically important, I am attempting to share some of these pictures by reproducing and enlarging them for mounting in various size frames.

These reproductions are high quality images. Bearing in mind that some of these original images are nearly 100 years old, an added effort has been put into enhancing those images in need of repair through the magic of computer technology. A digital enlargement is made on glossy 120 lb. card stock printed from a Kodak laser copier. The images are the same quality as the posters that are also shown on my website. They will be matted for framing with a foam core back. The advances in digital printing has advanced far beyond what was available when I started this web site five years ago. During that time I have added a few hundred more postcard images to my collection all of which are available for reproduction. Unfortunately the cost of adding them all to the website is prohibitive at this time. For that reason if you purchase one of my books, it will serve not only to entertain you, but also act as a catalog . There are over 700 images shown which I would gladly reproduce for you.
