This is the 1953 Fourth edition of this motorcycle service manual, covering machines from the late 1920\'s to the 1950\'s it is a very hard book to find. This 1953 edition is a larger and expanded edition than the previous editions. This book covers a wealth of Vintage American and British Motorcycles that were sold in the North American continent, hard back cloth binding in very good condition clean white pages throughout - binding a tad weak overall very nice and clean. This is a huge volume with 674 pages and hundreds of fantastic and very helpful photos, illustrations and diagrams that support the direct and easy to understand text and service information that fills this stunning volume. All leading types of American and British motorcycles are covered and presented in great detail, all makes having there own section and the parts that are common to all models are covered in there own sections and chapters, like Magnetos and other proprietary parts. Plus detailed chapters for each make This is in my opinion an essential volume of information for the owner or restorer of American and british motorcycles. Covers many machines made by - Indian, Harley Davidson, Triumph, Vincent, BSA, Royal Enfield, Villiers, Douglas, Matchless and AJS, Norton, Ariel, Sunbeam, and Velocette. A superb book for the vintage motorcycle owner collector or enthusiast.
