AJS Matchless 1937 to 1946 3G 3GL AJS Model 16 350cc Piston .040 Oversized:

NOS AJS Matchless oversized (040) piston for the early 350 singles. I could not find a reference in the literature I have but the marking on the box is plain. This came from a dealers inventory who was in business in the late 1940's and 50's.
It is in new condition and complete with the circlips and wrist pin as seen in the photos.

A knowledgeable er added the following information:This piston fits WW2 military and Civillian G3/G3L and AJS model 16, 347cc 1937 to 1946 only ,it is not suitable for 1947 on wards if fitted to these machines it will come up the bore 1/2" short and hit the flywheels at bottom of stroke
