This felt and machine embroidered motorcycle patch commemorates the 50-year anniversary of the 1947 4th of July weekend motorcycle rally in the small town of Hollister, CA that reportedly turned into anarchy and inspired the 1953 László Benedek film The Wild One starring Marlon Brando. The patch features images of a motorcycle, the state of California with a star indicating the location of the town of Hollister, and the Hollister clock tower embroidered on red felt along with the words "The Wild One," "Hollister" and "50 Years 1947-1997."
