This listing is for a vintage Indian Scout 249 motorcycle frame with engine and title. This was my dads motorcycle and he stopped riding this in 1961. He took it apart to restore at some point and never got to it. As far as I know the engine was running when he stopped riding it. The engine looks to be complete except for a carburetor. The engine has several chipped fins and a fair amount of rust. The frame has some rust but looks to be in good shape for the age. The rear shocks have a good amount of rust. The left front shock cover has damage. The wheels are in rough shape with what looks to be heavy rust. I am not sure if they will be usable. The number on the title is 2493991. The raised boss on the frame where the serial number normally is, looks blank, I can\'t make out any numbers. The engine number is also tough to make out. It looks like a letter or 2 to the left and then maybe 15385 after that.Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
