Thislistingis for an original The Flying Merckel motorcycle postcard in good condition with bends, dings, scratches, staining/soiling, fading, and wear as shown in the photos. The Flying Merckel is easily visible on the gas tank. I believe it is a divided back postcard commonly from 1907-1915, so this is likely from around 1911-1915 when that brand of motorcycle was manufactured. There is an Oregon license plate on the front of the bike. This may be the only example of this postcard in existence.
