This book features former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a high school senior. The school did not publish yearbooks every year at the time FDR went to the school, so in 1913 they published a compendium "catch-up" yearbook with photos from the classes they missed. FDR is featured in a class photo from his senior year (identified; see attached scan). There are NOT many copies of this book floating around!
This book is in great shape for its 110+ years! That being said, it does show considerable wear on the covers, corners, and spine (but nothing structural). There is a small circular mark on the front cover. The front facing page has a lengthwise crease; the following page has a “shadow effect” from the facing page being turned over. The pages themselves are in great shape with some faint age-toning and foxing scattered throughout. The gold edging on the top and bottom of the pages is intact and shiny. This is an opportunity to own a VERY rare piece of FDR memorabilia!
