The selection of posters shown here are reproductions of early motorcycle advertising. More than that, each poster is computer edited and enhanced to bring out the detail of the original. In some cases the poster is a composite of separate ads to lend balance and interest to the overall design. For instance, a black and white Ad may have had the black and white image removed and an identical color one inserted in its place. This has been done in some examples where a color postcard image is the same as the one from the Ad.
Early magazine covers have also been used as subject matter for reproduction. In some posters, just the background color has been added. Each image varies in complexity due to the amount of editing required. Some posters take many hours of painstaking and tedious work to create the final result.
Each poster is printed on 11” x 14” gloss card stock. The images reproduce brilliantly and fit perfectly in a standard 11” x 14” frame that you can provide. Each poster is $ 8.00 and will be shipped via USPS priority mail within the U.S. at $ 5.00 regardless of quantity. For shipments outside of the U.S. rates will be quoted on an individual basis.
The selection of advertising from which these posters are created is from an extensive collection. If you have a particular interest that is not represented here, contact us through the E-mail link and you will be advised if original material is available.
Order by item number and description. Most posters are in stock, but some of the more obscure subject posters will be printed upon order with delivery being a week to ten days.
