[Funny Knights] Kantai Collection -KanColle- Kiso Kai Ni 1/7 Figure Boxed 2017:
$135.80

On April 23, 2013 a Japanese only Brower game developed by Kadokawa Games and published by DMM.com would release Kantai Collection (affectionately nicknamed KanColle by fans) and would go on to become one of their biggest merchandising monstersThe concept of KanColle is taking World War II ships and making them into lovely women physically appearing between the ages of young teenaged girls and adult women.Equipping armaments (miniaturized versions of naval guns, flight decks etc), the kanmusu (ship girls) take to the seas to fight against the Abyssal Fleet while the players, called 'Admirals' mange construction, growth and supplies to aid the girls in their fight.Permadeath is a thing.Initially, it was just the Japanese only Fleet but eventually added German ships and much later started opening the gates to Ally ships. At present, there are over 200 ship girls each illustrated by a variety of artists which further emphasize the broad personalities of the girls meaning that there will definitely be a favorite girl for someone. As a result, this combo gave KanColle an era of dominance in doujin circles as their presence swallowed up the sales and attention of fan created content at places like Comiket over anything else.Yes, even Touhou.KanColle was an absolute juggernaut.KanColle still very much has presence jumping to present time, however, like the waves of time, something bigger came along and became something of even broader appeal. That something being Blue Archive. In any case, I also collected my fair share of KanColle goods (mostly anything related to Zuihou, Musashi and Jun'you) and I ended up impulse buying on occasion since there are alot of very well designed characters. Kiso being one of them. Was never able to get room for a proper display case and it'd be a waste to let such an awesome design not be placed as the trophy she is so here's hoping I can find her a proper home. This figure crafted by Funny Knights in 2017 is a 1/7 scale figure of torpedo cruiser Kiso Kai Ni.This product is an NRFB (Never Removed From Box) some dust on the box.SPECS:
