2 VTG MCM Hollywood Regency Gold Gilt Large Statues Warriors Combatants Signed For Sale

Fantastic pair of Vintage Mid Century Hollywood Regency gold gilt chalkware statues depicting warriors - Based off of Ansonia Clock Co “The Combatants” which originated in the late 1800’s.

The statues are both signed by the artist on the back (see photo 23 for signature).

These are large sculptural pieces each measuring approximately 19” tall.

They come with their original weapons. The tack holding the sword in place is exposed on the underside (see photo 22)

The sword will be removed and packed separately for safe shipping and will need to be carefully reattached upon receipt.

These are in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few small places where the gold gilt has come off. This could be retouched if desired, but in my opinion it does not effect the statues visual appeal. It is very minor. See photos as they are a part of the description.
