2016 Pebble Beach Concours Poster Art Remarques Ford GT40 BMW 507 ROWE S/N x/85Content of this listing © But for the Love of Cars. All rights reserved.Super-rare pair of 2016 remarques—poster-art-inspired sketches in a Pebble Beach Concours padded leather-look folio. Hand-signed and numbered in a series of 85 by the artists. New. This is a rare Concours souvenir—only 85 of these were produced as gifts for Concours VIPs. Inside the folio are small pencil sketches of the cars and settings featured in Barry Rowe’s 2016 Tour poster (BMW) and Ken Eberts\' 2016 Concours poster (Ford GT40s).AFAS and Concours artist Barry Rowe\'s remarque features Elvis Presley\'s 1957 BMW 507 Roadster. Ken Eberts\' remarque features one of the Ford GT40s that swept the podium at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Small variations in shading and form from one piece to another in the series show these to be hand-done sketches, made on a fine, substantial, cream-colored stock. Spectacularly executed images are hand-signed, labeled, and numbered in a limited edition of 85, and stamped with the artist’s chop (Eberts did not use a chop). Prints measure 4 1/4” x 5 7/8” (11 cm x 14 cm). Folio measures 5 1/2\" x 7 1/2\" (14 cm x 19 cm). New and in exceptional condition. Buy with Confidence
