3 Vtg 1950s Salesman Sample Personalized Christmas Cards Booklets Brochures:
$60.00

Three vintage 1950s Christmas card salesman sample books. Cards are quarter fold style and all have pre-printed names inside. One booklet includes several embossed designs; one has flocked designs.
NOTE: One of the sample books is dated 1954. I did not find dates on the other 2 but based on card style and the fact that card prices of the 2 undated books are similar, I believe they are all of the same general age. One of the 2 undated books has the old style 1 or 2 digit Postal Zoning Code in the company address rather than a 5 digit Zip Code.
Each booklet originally held between 8 and 10 sample cards, but 1 is missing the front panel and 3 are missing the inside left panel. Since most of these have cute graphics inside as well, presumabley the missing panels were used for scrapbooking / junk journals / etc.Booklets have bumped corners and some chipping and minor tears on the edges and along fold lines consistent with age. The larger book holds the flocked cards and has quite a bit of discoloration within the booklet from the cards. As shown in the 4th photo, 1 card has discoloration inside from the glue used when it was placed in the booklet.
Except as noted, cards are in excellent condition. I\'ve had these booklets for years - they are getting harder and harder to find. Please be aware of the following:
