Made from a gnarled branch and with iron bore and touchhole or vent.This is an extremely primitive example of a blunderbuss, perhaps better described as a handheld cannon. It doesn't seem to have a trigger and (flintlock) hammer to fire it.

Trabucos are the Spanish word for blunderbuss, and the colonial-era ones your photos show are a great example of the type — they were often crude, field-made or field-repaired weapons rather than factory arms, which is exactly what your piece looks like.
