Vintage Cornell \"Senior Law Smoker 1905\" beer stein/mug, cream-colored body with reddish-brown transfer print. Front reads \"CORNELL SENIOR LAW SMOKER 1905\" above the scales of justice, beside a graduate in cap and gown smoking a long pipe and holding a mug marked \"C.\" Red arrow decoration on the handle; underside marked \"10.\"Approximate measurements: 4.5\" tall, 4\" diameter. Glaze shows light crazing throughout, consistent with age (see photos).Excellent antique condition with zero chips, cracks, or structural hairline fractures. A great piece for Cornell, law school, or early-1900s collegiate memorabilia collectors. These mugs were commissioned for Cornell Law School\'s traditional “Smoker\" social gatherings in the early 1900s.
