Art Deco porcelain half-doll vanity brush,Charming porcelain lady wearing a pale blue bodice and holding colorful flowers. Her lower half forms a long decorative garment/vanity brush with multicolored silk/ fiber bristles and gold-tone textile trim.
The porcelain figure is clearly marked \"MADE IN JAPAN\" on the back.Measures approximately 8 1/4
inches long overall.
A wonderful surviving example of the decorative half-doll vanity accessories popular during the Art Deco period.
These figural brushes were used as vanity, garment, clothes and crumb brushes and are now collectible decorative pieces.Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, marks/soiling and wear/fraying to the original textile trim and Dysh fibers.Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the condition description.
