This antique bute canister
shape tea/coffee cup is a fine example of early 19th century English porcelain in the vibrant Imari style, featuring hand-painted floral motifs in cobalt blue, iron red, pink, green, and elaborate gold gilding. The lower. band is highlighted by a distinctive geometric pattern of white X marks on a blue ground, outlined in gold, adding to its ornate appeal. Country of origin: England.
