Antique Painted Carved Wood Santos Saint Statue Relic 14.5” Tall Monk Figure Vtg For Sale

This figure came from an old estate. It has damage and missing parts. Most notably, the right hand is missing. Additionally, it appears the figure had something attached to the back. Possibly angel wings. They are not here. There are holes in the back where they previously rested.

Also, the figure has significant crazing, fading, some cracking and general signs of age and wear.

I considered using the missing hand area to hold a small candle. Since this is wood and most likely I’d forget about the candle and accidentally burn the house down, this probably isn’t the best idea, at least for me.

The overall height is approximately 14 1/2” tall.

Sold as is, a cool old relics but far from perfect.
