• this is rather wonderful , extremely ornate , this original most likely had a painting however this would look great with a mirror as well, you can certainly see the quality in construction by looking at the back , there are scattered touch ups and repairs , the frame on the outer edges is very dirty , I assume this probably sat in an attic or basement for a while, there is also some scatted white tissue from the frame being wrapped, if you have patience you can remove it , we do not have that ! this has a great patina and look , if that's what your going for , I would leave it alone , we will carefully pack and insure this for safe transit . dont miss out , frames like this are getting harder to find !
