Up for sale is a gorgeous, vintage blue stoneware mixing bowl featuring the classic ribbed \"picket fence\" or
\"cathedral\" pattern. This is a substantial, heavy-duty utility size perfect for primitive farmhouse kitchen decor or functional everyday Use.

Century (Unmarked bottom)These distinctive \"picket fence\" textured bowls were primarily made by Clay City Pottery out of Indiana, as well as Ruckles Pottery and Western Stoneware Co. (often sold under the Monmouth name).
Because many of these Midwest American potteries used similar molds and manufacturing techniques during the 1920s to 1940s, individual pieces were frequently left unmarked except for an embossed size number on the bottom.Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The glaze is bright and glossy with beautiful, authentic factory character (typical minor pinholes/glaze pops from the original firing process). No major chips or structural hairline cracks. It has a beautiful, clean presentation.
