Bulldog Brand Pit Bulls Prototype Folding Pocket Knife For Sale

This is a highly collectible Bulldog Brand folding pocket knife, specifically identified as a 'Pit Bulls' model and etched as a 'Prototype' on the blade. The knife features a hammer-forged surgical steel blade with ornate 'Pit Bulls Trade Mark' etching on one side and 'Prototype' script on the reverse. The handle is crafted with unique, multi-colored celluloid scales showing a swirl of orange, blue, and grey, accented by nickel silver bolsters and a crest shield inlay. As a prototype, this item represents a rare pre-production or experimental version of the Bulldog Brand line, which was renowned for its high-quality German manufacturing standards. This specific piece displays some oxidation on the bolsters and light surface wear on the handle, typical of age, but remains a significant find for dedicated knife collectors and fans of the Bulldog Brand history.
