Beautiful and wonderfully wedge terminated, blue grey Celestite/Celestine crystal with parallel growth of a couple additional crystals Hefty, thick, good sized specimen that is translucent at the termination and grades toward opaque down the silky prism faces.
This is an excellent collection specimen.
Has one prism face with damage and some Limestone matrix in the same area.
This came from a old high end collection of mostly mid western state minerals that was in storage for the last few decades until recently. I was able to buy a few flats of various specimens from the company that acquired the collection.
From the Maybee Quarry, Exeter Township, Michigan.

7 cm length roughly.
