Cypraea tigris – GIANT 106 mm Heavy Tiger Cowrie with LARGE DARK BROWN SPOTS
An impressive, very large Tiger Cowrie distinguished by its bold, oversized dark brown spotting, rich chocolate-brown dorsal coloration, and substantial 180.20-gram weight.
This beautiful mature specimen measures 106 mm (4.17 inches) and features a broad, rounded shell with striking large, dark brown to nearly black spots scattered across its creamy white lateral surfaces. Smaller contrasting spots and warm amber-brown markings across the dorsum create a richly patterned, eye-catching appearance.
The shell retains attractive natural gloss, while its clean white aperture and well-defined teeth provide a beautiful contrast to the darker exterior.
