Description: Beautiful large Victorian die-cut advertising piece measuring approximately 12 inches long × 6 inches wide. This richly colored lithographed die-cut was issued as a complimentary trade card from Christopher Richards Mabley (1836–1885), founder of one of America’s earliest chains of department stores. The die-cut retains strong, vivid colors and shows no damage, making it an excellent example of 19th-century advertising art. A wonderful collectible for enthusiasts of Victorian ephemera, retail history, or early American department stores.
