You\'re looking at an early vintage/ antique sewing/ machinist\'s task light in excellent working condition and dating to approx the 1910s - 1930s. This piece was designed to be bench mounted and it can easily be pivoted to direct light where it\'s required. Overall the patina of this lamp is very good with wear commensurate with age including marks, scuffs, dings, pitting etc; which all add to the character and authenticity of the piece. The gooseneck arm is strong and taut and will easily hold in place. The original Hubbell reflector is complete and in great shape. The early Perkins switch works perfectly and has a very satisfying click. The inside of the switch is stamped with a patent date of 1900. This item has been thoroughly cleaned and rewired using vintage-style black twisted cord and a new plug. Works perfectly and ready to be mounted or clamped to a desk. *The clamp pictured is not included.Measures approx 30 3/4\" long including the shade.
