Hallmarked on inside bottom all of the English hallmarks for HCD, sterling, made in England and 1955Mirror in EXCELLENT conditionSnaps closedComes with original powder sifter***The protective coating on the top has some light scratches. This is only seen when in a certain light. The camera could not catch them. The enamel is NOT scratched or damaged in anyway. The silver on the inside rim shows some normal wear. I have not cleaned the compact of its patina. There are no repairs***BEAUTIFUL LARGE collectible
