Specimen ID: ZM044This is a substantial display-size specimen with dramatically different fluorescence depending on the UV wavelength.Under shortwave UV, the specimen shows extensive yellow/orange fluorescence accompanied by areas and speckling of bright green and additional contrasting fluorescent responses.Under midwave UV, the yellow/orange fluorescent material becomes especially intense and widespread, producing one of the strongest visual responses of the specimen.Under longwave UV, the response is more subdued but remains clearly visible, with scattered orange fluorescence and additional small fluorescent areas.In normal light the specimen has a gray, tan and dark mineralized matrix with a coarse natural texture.
