Here is an incredible piece of "Rams Horn"selenite (gypsum) without the Rams Horns. From the Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Mapimí Municipality, Durango,Mexico. It measures 6.57 inches from tipto tip (166.9 mm.), and weighs about 6.15oz. (173 grams).

This specimen gives off a wonderful green light in UV,especially short wave UV. A realattention-getting in a collection of fluorescent material.
