Impressive large decorative metal vase featuring elaborate hand-worked floral and foliate decoration throughout.
Standing approximately 22 inches tall, this substantial statement vase has a classic baluster form with a gently flared rim and an exceptionally detailed surface. Raised repoussé-style leaves and scrolling foliage are complemented by chased/engraved details and a finely punched textured background, creating beautiful contrast and dimension as the metal catches the light.
The silver-tone finish ranges from highly polished raised areas to darker recessed details, emphasizing the intricate workmanship.
A striking decorative object with enough scale to stand alone on a console, pedestal, large table or floor. Particularly suited to eclectic, Hollywood Regency, global, traditional or collected interiors.
