Ballistic Protection: Level IIIA stops .357 SIG, .44 Magnum, and 9mm FMJ rounds (NIJ .0106.01 / 0108.01 standards). It is primarily designed for handgun threats and fragmentation .

· Shell Construction: Made from multi-layer Kevlar (Aramid) or sometimes blended with UHMWPE for weight savings. This composite structure absorbs energy by deforming to stop projectiles .

· "Wendy Style" Conversion: The helmet is set up to accept Team Wendy upgrades. This usually means aftermarket CAM-FIT retention systems and impact liners for a much more stable and comfortable fit .

This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
