It does have slight water damage to the back of it that does transfer to the front. I believe this is truly one of a kind lucky kind of deal. I found this gem at a garage sale in a box of Disney collectibles, and this was tucked away in the back in an envelope, and it looked as if it has not been touched for years. Whoever it did belong to obviously did not know what they had or the owner had passed away no way to tell I’m an avid collector of original art mostly comic book but this is a beautiful piece to add to anybody’s collection from iconic animator from Disney. It is not certified, but if it doesn’t sell, that’s OK with me because this would make a beautiful piece to my collection that I can hand down to my children and my children’s children.
Mark Hand was the animator for Ariel and the Little mermaid Bernard and Bianca in the rescuers down under. He was also the animator for Belle and beauty and the beast Jasmine in Aladdin, Young Simba and The Lion King and the title character Mulan in Mulan. He also was the artist for Tiana and Princess and the frog. He became as known as the quotation marks the princess guy around the studio.
