Original WWII Croatian NDH Parachutist Qualification Badge (1941–1945)Independent State of Croatia • Original Airborne Qualification Badge • WWII Period
Offered is an original Croatian Parachutist Qualification Badge from the Independent State of Croatia (Nezavisna Država Hrvatska – NDH), dating to the Second World War (1941–1945).
This official military qualification badge was awarded to personnel who successfully completed military parachute training and qualified for airborne service. Due to the limited size of Croatian airborne formations during the war, surviving original badges are considerably less common than many other European WWII parachutist insignia.
This example displays the classic wartime Croatian parachutist design with excellent original detail, attractive period finish, and an original pin assembly. It is an impressive historical artifact and an excellent addition to collections of Croatian militaria, WWII airborne insignia, European military badges, and Balkan military history.
