Up for sale is a fantastic matching pair lot of 2 authentic pieces of World War II history: original United States Army Medical Corps uniform collar insignia pins, sourced together from an estate keepsake box.These pieces feature the traditional Caduceus symbol representing the physicians, field medics, and medical personnel of the Second World War. Having the pair is excellent for collectors or uniform restorers, as these were worn simultaneously on the left and right lapels.

Hardware Notes: One pin features a period-correct horizontal pin back with a rotating safety locking wheel clasp. The second pin utilizes a traditional vertical pin layout with a vintage open C-clasp catch.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Both pieces display a beautiful, untouched authentic aged patina with rich, warm highlights along the wings and serpent scales. The metal has never been chemically cleaned or polished. Both rear pins are straight and their respective clasps function smoothly.
