Up for sale is an exceptional, museum-quality piece of military timekeeping history. This is a genuine 1979 U.S. Military-issued Heuer handheld mechanical stopwatch, Reference 508.901, manufactured under strict Department of Defense contract specifications (MIL-S-14823).Unlike most military surplus items found today, this piece is in near-mint, pristine cosmetic condition and works flawlessly.Condition Details:

Mechanical Function: 100% operational. The 7-jewel Swiss mechanical movement winds smoothly, keeps excellent time, and both hands crisp-reset cleanly back to the vertical zero position. (Please see the included video clip to watch the movement and reset function in action).
Cosmetic Condition: Looks nearly new. The high-contrast black and white dial is perfectly clean with no fading or discoloration. The crystal is clear, and the rugged black fiberglass composite case shows virtually no field wear. The military engravings on the caseback remain completely sharp, crisp, and filled with the original white paint.
