A cool specimen of skeletal galena, pyrite,quartz and sphalerite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Itdisplays a very neat and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned galenacrystals overgrowing each other. An excellent parallel growth of cubes andelongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop anotherforming an amazing terraced cubic structure. The faces are matt. Yellow, brassypyrite with a strong luster is seen too. Black sphalerite crystals and quartzenrich the display. It shows attractively all over 360 degree. In very goodcondition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
