Clock fully works. Ships without a battery. Takes 1 AA. Power supply is for the neon. It\'s either on or off. Toggle switch is in back once plugged in. The neon is not intended to run off the battery just the clock. They are 2 different power supplies and run independent of each other if that makes sense.
Face Plexiglass is in good shape with just light wear and no major scratches. The chrome does have light scratches throughout but I don\'t think it\'s anything you will really notice from a reasonable distance.
