OUR GRADING PHILOSOPHY
At Hero for Hire, we take a conservative approach to raw comic grading.
Our estimated grades are intentionally cautious, with the goal of helping collectors receive fair or better-than-fair value.
Our grading philosophy aims for approximately a 50% chance of meeting the estimated grade and a 25% chance of receiving a higher professional grade. These percentages represent our grading goals, not verified statistical probabilities or guarantees.
We would rather provide collectors with an attractive, accurately described comic at a fair price than overstate its condition.
