Measurements: There is no size marked on the jacket, but it measures 23\" from underarm to underarm across the chest, 19 1/2\" from shoulder to shoulder across the back, 25 1/2\" from the collar/body seam to the bottom of the hem down the back, and with a 23 1/2\" sleeve from the shoulder to the end of the cuff.

Condition: This jacket is in Very Good Condition. A small 1/2\" x 1/4\" \"L\" shaped tear in the pocket at the upper left sleeve.Moderate scattered loose stitching to the \"figure 8\" quilting throughout. Moderate scattered \"browning\" and brownish soiling to the silk lining. Retains a great amount of the vibrant ERDL camouflage colors. Boasts a fully functional \"YKK\" brass front zipper, features a \"sky\" blue silk lining, and sports an open top left chest pocket, slash entry lower front \"hand warmer\" pockets, and a single exposed button flap closure \"cigarette\" pocket at the upper left sleeve.
Historical Background:Most GIs in Vietnam disdained the heavy sleeping bag, preferring the poncho and poncho liner instead as field expedient sleep gear. The poncho liner could also be used by itself as a lightweight field blanket, and was widely considered the most comfortable item ever issued by the US Army. Many \"grunts\" had local tailors make custom jackets out of the classic ERDL camouflage poncho liner material.
