For sale here is a great looking US WW2 USN Navy Enlisted Chief Petty Officer\'s CPO Visor Hat Cap. The body of the cap is made of treated white cotton that shows some soiling, yellowing, and staining. The cap has a nice black wool mohair band, and is complete with pin back Vanguard marked CPO badge. The cap has a shiny black leather chin strap and very nice slightly crazed black patent leather bill. Inside, the cap has an upper tensioning band, a supple fully attached leather sweatband that is marked, It Feels Good The Princeform Cushion Uniform Cap Trade Mark Reg. Style 305. The partial sweat shield is marked Capitol Customs Uniforms All Types Of Uniforms 118 Court St 4813 5th Ave Brooklyn, NY. The cap is not named or size marked. This cap fits like a size 7. This hat is slightly misshapen when lying flat, but it looks great on a properly sized form. Though worn and soiled, this is a rare cap in great condition.
