This sale is for a fantastic VINTAGE Dept 56 illuminated \"LIT\" HALLOWEEN detailed scene or diorama.
The detail on this piece is wonderful. It\'s carefully modeled and hand-painted to represent a very haunted castle somewhere. Occupying it are a variety of characters. It\'s illuminated with LEDs which continually change color. There is also a fiber \"fog\" that emits from the house which makes it look even more spooky.
This was made in the year 2002. Dept 56 made some wonderful decorative items for the Holidays, especially for Christmas and Halloween. The company went through several ownerships later and the quality was never as good, but these are from the best years of production.
This has been stored away for many years. It comes in the original box and foam insert. The box does have some shelf wear but is in very good condition.
This piece stands about 11.5\" tall. It is about 9\" wide and about 6\" deep front to back.
