Powerful original WWII-era Dayton, Ohio Community War Chest poster map — a vivid home-front call to generosity and civic unity.

Original large-format double-sided World War II Community War Chest poster map of Dayton, Ohio, printed in red and black, measuring approximately 24 × 36 inches. One side features a detailed street map of Dayton surrounded by the slogan “Your City Has a Heart—Have You?” with numbered red hearts identifying local agencies supported by the wartime fundraising drive. The reverse side presents an array of photographs illustrating the many community and service organizations aided by the campaign, urging citizens to “Look into the lives of those who count on you—then let your heart decide.”

This example shows typical fold lines from original distribution and several small tears along the creases, but the paper is complete with strong color and displays well. A striking piece of American home-front history and a vivid reminder of her collective civic effort during World War II.
