VTG Blue & White Porcelain Boy Girl Umbrella Figurine Bud Vase Hummel Style 5.5\" For Sale

Vintage Mid-Century Blue & White Porcelain Figurine Bud Vase — Boy & Girl with UmbrellasUp for sale is a charming, vintage glazed porcelain figurine heavily inspired by traditional M.I. Hummel designs (resembling the classic \"Stormy Weather\" motif).

• The Design: Features a sweet young boy and girl standing on opposite sides of a rustic wooden fence. Both are wearing matching outfits accented in deep navy blue, holding open umbrellas above their heads to shield themselves from a rainy day.
• The Function: The central tree trunk post between the children is hollowed out, allowing this piece to function beautifully as a small bud vase, a single taper candle holder, or a decorative vanity toothpick holder.
• The Finish: Crafted from high-gloss porcelain with a bright white base glaze and rich cobalt blue painted details highlighting their clothes, shoes, fence posts, and umbrellas.
• Markings: The base features an open, unglazed multi-slot hollow cavity typical of mid-century slip-cast export ceramics. No stamps or labels remain.

Measurements:

• Height: Approximately 5.5 inches tall
