Up for sale is a remarkably well-preserved vintage 1920s AutoFyrStop metal wall mounting bracket. This heavy-duty, spring-loaded hardware was manufactured by AutoFyrStop of Philadelphia, PA, and was designed to hold the iconic glass "fire grenade" bulbs used in early 20th-century home and automotive fire protection.

The text stamped along the bottom band is clearly legible and reads:

"FOR MANUAL USE... AUTOFYRSTOP... PHILA. PA. U.S.A... SUPER UNIT WITH CBM PLUS"
