Each photograph features a historical descriptive caption printed on the reverse side in both Dutch and English, cataloging historic 16th and 17th-century landmarks.

10 Individual Real Photo Snapshots: Features ten pristine, high-contrast glossy panoramic prints documenting Hoorn\'s architectural legacy from its era as a major home port of the Dutch East India Company (VOC). Scenic views include the magnificent Oosterpoort Eastgate (built 1578), the striking façade of the Statencollege (1632) (now the West Friesland Museum), the historic Weighhouse / Waaggebouw (1609) framed behind an ornate wrought-iron gate alongside the J. Pz. Coen statue, the harbor front (Havengezicht) with traditional sailing vessels, the old St. John\'s Hospital (St. Jansgasthuis), and preserved interior/exterior views of historic townhomes dating back to 1624.

This 80-year-old Dutch photography collection is in beautiful, honest Very Good to Excellent vintage condition. The portfolio is entirely unposted, unaddressed, and clean, featuring no ink markings, collector stamps, or structural paper tears. The outer protective paper envelope sleeve remains structurally sound and complete, displaying only standard, completely natural storage age-toning and mild foxing on the back face. For total accuracy: 9 of the 10 internal photographs retain excellent paper brightness for their age with clean reverse cardstock backs and minimal to no age-related toning, while one card back shows a more pronounced, isolated vintage yellowing/toning from its long-term resting position near the folder opening. The glossy front emulsions on all 10 prints are spectacular, boasting sharp corners, rigid borders, and mirror-bright black-and-white depth.
