Is your garage wall looking a little too quiet? Rocket your space straight back to the late 1940s with this genuine, vintage 1946–1947 Oldsmobile hubcap that has been saved from a quiet retirement in a dusty barn and transformed into a custom quartz wall clock by the master restorers at Rusty Goats Time Emporium.
The Historical Facts (To Impress Your Friends):
The Dawn of the Rocket Era: This beautiful emblem is pure, post-WWII Art Deco styling. It features Oldsmobile's iconic early rocket shield badge right in the center, stamped just as American automakers were transitioning away from wartime production and back to building boulevard cruisers.
True Post-War Chrome: This isn't a flimsy plastic replica stamped out yesterday. This is genuine, heavy-duty American steel from an era when things were built to survive fender benders and outlast centuries.
An Automotive Legend: This cap rolled off the assembly line right around the time the Roswell UFO incident happened, gas was 15 cents a gallon, and television was still a black-and-white luxury. It has literally outlived the entire Oldsmobile brand!
The Humor (To Keep It Real):
The Movement: Powered by a modern, ultra-reliable quartz wall clock mechanism. It tracks the hours flawlessly so you can accurately tell yourself "Just five more minutes" for three hours straight while hiding out in the garage.
Authentic Post-War Patina: It boasts a gorgeous vintage character with minor surface marks from its actual life on the open road. It has real street credibility from surviving 1940s gravel highways—perfections that no factory replica can fake.
Some Assembly Required: To prevent over-enthusiastic postal workers from bending the bright red hands into pretzel shapes during transit, they are shipped safely and separately inside the box. When it arrives, simply press them onto the center pin, slide the battery in, and your walls are instantly upgraded.
The Royal Treatment:
Because we aren't monsters, each clock comes expertly packaged and includes a brand new AA battery and a microfiber cleaning cloth to keep this chrome bright enough to look like a beacon of hope on your wall.
