Item Description
Up for sale is a vintage 1951 Philco Transitone Model 51-532 vacuum tube table radio.
This radio is being sold in unrestored, non-working condition and is offered strictly AS IS for parts, repair, or restoration.
Condition Details:
• Functionality: Non-working. The radio does not power on or function. The original power cord is present but shows typical age and weathering.
• Cosmetics: Shows normal wear and patina consistent with its age, including dust accumulation on the internal chassis and cabinet. The dark Bakelite/plastic cabinet is intact with no major visible cracks, and the front dial glass/plastic and original control knobs are present.
• Interior: The internal chassis appears to be complete with its original components, including the speaker, vacuum tubes, and factory stamps/labels (Model 51-532). The loop antenna wire backing ribbon is present but loose/detached from the casing.
This is an excellent, untouched winter project for a vintage radio hobbyist or a fantastic decorative mid-century display piece. Please review all accompanying photographs closely to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
