Beautiful vintage Mid-Century Modern table lamp featuring a striking white popcorn-textured ceramic body, a long sculpted wood neck, brass-tone hardware, and a large vintage drum shade.
The contrast between the heavily textured white ceramic and warm-toned wood gives this lamp a wonderful 1960s Danish Modern / organic modern appearance. Its oversized proportions and sculptural silhouette make it an excellent statement piece for a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, eclectic, or vintage-inspired interior.
The ceramic body has a distinctive raised popcorn texture, sometimes seen on mid-century American and European pottery lamps. The surface is highly tactile and gives the lamp a strong architectural presence.
Above the ceramic body is a long turned wood neck. The wood appears consistent with walnut in color and grain, although no manufacturer documentation was found to confirm the exact wood species.
The wood transitions into vintage brass-tone metal hardware and an older socket assembly.
The lamp retains a vintage socket with an old UL label reading Portable Lamp – Issue No. 60,729, along with an older harp assembly with patent markings. These details support the lamp’s mid-century construction, although patent and electrical markings alone cannot establish an exact manufacturing year.
No manufacturer’s label, signature, or maker’s mark was found on the ceramic body or underside.
During our research, we compared this lamp with period designs associated with makers such as Phil-Mar, Haeger, Marshall Studios / Jane & Gordon Martz, Bitossi / Raymor, and Westwood Industries. Similar combinations of textured ceramic, walnut or teak-toned wood, and brass hardware were used by several manufacturers during the 1950s–1970s.
However, we have not found an exact documented match, so we prefer not to attribute this lamp to a specific manufacturer without supporting evidence.
American manufacture is possible, as is European or Italian ceramic production, but the country of origin remains height with shade: approximately 34.5\"

The lamp is in good vintage condition and has been tested and is working.
The white ceramic base presents very well and retains its distinctive popcorn texture. The turned wood neck shows natural grain, finish variation, and light signs of age.
The brass-tone socket, harp, and metal components show expected patina and surface wear consistent with vintage use.
The large vintage drum shade is included and displays very well with the lamp. Please review the photographs carefully for any minor age-related wear, marks, or surface variation.
