Vintage military-style cavalry/officer saber sword with matching metal scabbard.
Sword measures approximately 38.5” overall from end to end with an approximately 33” blade. Features a multi-branch metal guard, black ribbed grip, polished straight blade and matching metal scabbard with suspension ring and chain.
Pre-owned vintage condition and presents very well overall. Shows normal age and use including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, finish wear and some surface spotting to the scabbard. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
IMPORTANT: I am not 100% certain of the exact model, country of origin, manufacturer or age of this sword. There are no visible manufacturer markings that I can find. Based on its design, it appears to be a vintage European-style cavalry or officer saber, but this is only my best guess and I am not representing it as a specific military model. If anyone has additional information or can positively identify it, I would greatly appreciate the input.
