### A Piece of Pacific Northwest Industrial History
This beautiful solid 10K gold award pin represents 15 years of dedicated service at one of the West Coast's most legendary industrial operations. Originally founded in 1883 by Oregonian publisher Henry Pittock to supply newsprint, the Camas, Washington facility eventually merged into the Crown Zellerbach corporate family in 1928. By the 1940s, the bustling Camas plant grew into the largest specialty paper mill in the entire world, famously operating under the slogan "Camas Paper Wraps the World."
During its peak mid-century era, the mill was the absolute economic and cultural heartbeat of Clark County, employing generations of local families. This milestone pin stands as a proud token from that golden era of American manufacturing, beautifully crafted by the country's premier award jeweler, O.C. Tanner.
Perfect for vintage corporate advertising collectors, local Pacific Northwest history enthusiasts, or descendants of the historic Camas workforce. Found at an estate sale near Camas, WA.
