This is a cotton linen sack that once held 100 pounds of quality feed from Dietrich & Gambrill, Inc., D&G, from Frederick, MD and Lewisburg, PA.. The bag was made by Percy Kent Bag Co., Inc., and is made of Wear-O-Sax. Scrubbing the cloth with soap and warm water will remove the ink. The sack was designed after The Great Depression to be upcycled and made into clothing. A little comic on the sack has a picture of clothes on a clothesline and two kids, one of which is saying, \"My mamma made all of these things from D&G Wear-O-Sax.\" In fact, my grandmother had this sack and at one point in history I\'m pretty sure it was destined to be worn by one of my aunts. The bottom and side have had the string selvage pulled to create one large pink sheet, and a little less than half of the back panel has been cut away. I also believe some of the top has been cut away, as a full sack is 37 inches long. The front panel measures 27 inches long by 27 inches wide. I have two others of this sack listed at the time of posting if you\'d like to see a whole sack, and see it against a white background.
