Vintage Italian Terracotta Our Lady of Lourdes Statue - 11.5" Carved Wood Look:
$149.00

Exquisite mid-century vintage terracotta statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, measuring approximately 11.5 inches tall. Professionally crafted in Italy, this exceptional devotional piece features a striking, stylized "pencil profile" and an elegant chiseled texture that beautifully mimics a hand-carved Alpine wood finish. It displays all the classic iconographic hallmarks of the Lourdes apparition, including serene prayerful hands, a long draped rosary, and delicate sculpted roses at her feet. The reverse side features authentic incised markings reading "MADE IN ITALY" along with catalog stamp "ITEM No. 38/1." Unlike fragile, hollow chalkware reproductions, this is a heavy, solid-cast terracotta piece with a flat, structurally sound base showing original workshop mounting marks. It stands completely sturdy and upright, showing excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A truly magnificent and rare find for collectors of fine Italian pottery, Mid-Century Modern design, or traditional Catholic home altar decor. Will be meticulously wrapped in large-bubble cushion and double-boxed to guarantee safe, intact arrival.
